Pollinator Party – Sat, May 20th, 2023

Join us at the Bear Creek cabin for a festival that explores the many organisms that help to pollinate across Georgia’s habitats. We have live animal exhibits, scientists and conservationists, outdoor games and activities, arts and crafts, native plants, educational talks, food for purchase from local vendors, and fun for the whole family! Have fun while learning about how you and your family can make a difference in the lives of these organisms. All proceeds benefit the environmental education and conservation efforts at Bear Creek Nature Center.

The Bear Creek Pollinator Party is an annual event hosted as a joint effort between Bear Creek Nature Center, Chattahoochee Hills Bee City Committee, the Serenbe Landscape Committee, and Art Farm at Serenbe’s Environmental Committee.

Pollinator Groups & Events in the Community

Bear Creek Nature Center teaches people of all ages in the community about our environment, hoping that they will cultivate a personal awareness, appreciation of, and participation in the natural world, especially of our native ecosystem. They host events throughout the year and are proud to be the only nature center in Georgia with live bats on exhibit along with several reptiles and birds of prey as resident animal ambassadors.

State Botanical Garden of Georgia – As a unit of Public Service and Outreach at the University of Georgia, the State Botanical Garden of Georgia creates and nurtures an environment for learning, inspiration and engagement through horticulture, conservation, science based programs and lasting partnerships.
